Incomplete

Why are friends, true friends, so hard to find? The one's who are there to help you move. The one's that don't question who you are and just take you as you are. The one's that will drop everything to be there when you're hurting. The one's that share the good times, and the bad. Perhaps it's the fact that true friends share a piece of themselves with each other. A very precious piece that they won't trust to the care of just anyone. True friends know the value of the pieces they share with one another. And while they have given up a piece of them self, the hole has been filled with the others' piece and each remains complete. But if one person takes that piece and throws it away it leaves each incomplete. And once a piece is given it can not be replaced. Maybe that's why friends, true friends, are so hard to find.
